Each evening Laurence crafts a fresh three-course menu — starter, main, and dessert — reflecting what the garden and local farms have to offer that day. Intimate, seasonal, and always surprising.

Garden-Fresh Ingredients
Our kitchen garden and relationships with neighboring organic farmers ensure that every ingredient arrives at its peak. Zero food miles, maximum flavor — this is the Mikado promise.

Homemade Breakfast
Start every morning with Lolo's legendary breakfast — fresh tropical fruit, eggs from the property, homemade yogurt, granola, and bread baked fresh each day. Included in every stay.

Costa Rican Flavors
From gallo pinto at dawn to a casado at lunch, Laurence weaves authentic Tico traditions into every meal. Ask her about the local produce, the spices, and the stories behind each recipe.

Ranch Venue & Private Events
Our open-air ranch accommodates up to 35 guests and is perfect for weddings, reunions, and private celebrations. Full kitchen access is included at no extra cost with the complete rental package.
